This is a view from San Bruno Mountain. You see downtown San Francisco in the distance on the left and the Bay on the right. It was very hazy, windy, and cold!
Caddo Lake is known for its bayous where the Cypress trees grow in the shallows and they are always covered with Spanish moss.
Dogwoods bloom in March where I live. They are a beautiful and graceful welcome to spring.

We were taking the ferry across the San Francisco Bay to Sausalito, when this sailboat just came by in front of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The preferred method of travel on the Bayou is a flat-bottom boat. Of course, this requires seat cushions and paddles for your bottom comfort and arm workout.
The state park has beautiful color around the lake. Take the lake trail to walk all the way around the lake.
The power lines and light fixtures have probably been attached to the Cypress trees by the pier for over 50 years. The fluorescent bulb - not so long.
This restored, working windmill is on a friend's farm in Cass County, Texas. My flashlight was the only light around until a neighbor drove by and stopped to help. He thought if someone was out in a field at night with a flashlight, there must be something broken and he wanted to help.
